First Presbyterian hosts Christmas Eve services The children and young people of First Presbyterian Church will present the Annual Christmas Eve Pageant at 5 p.m. on Dec. 24. The Men’s Choir will sing at 10:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve. At the 11 p.m. Candlelight Service, the Chancel Choir will sing under the direction of Dr. Deborah S. King. The First Presbyterian located at 15 Shuart Lane. Candlelight services at Ramapo Reformed Ramapo Reformed Church, 100 Island Road in Mahwah, is offering two candlelight services on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24; they will be held at 7 and 11 p.m. The earlier service is informal and family oriented. Both services will feature traditional lessons and carols. Christmas comes to Bergen Highlands Bergen Highlands United Methodist Church is offering a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Dec. 24 at 7:30 p.m. This family service includes scripture, caroling, and music. The children who attend will participate in bringing the Christmas story to life. The children’s, youth, and senior choirs will perform Christmas favorites. The church will continue to celebrate Christmas on Sunday, Dec. 27 with a service of lessons and carols at the 10:30 a.m. service.
