Page 6 THE VILLADOM TIMES IV • December 2, 2009 Ramsey Borough of Ramsey Police Department Report On Nov. 12 at 12:48 a.m., Patrolman Mike Parise conducted a stop on a vehicle traveling on Main Street. During the stop, an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected from the driver. At the conclusion of field sobriety tests, the driver, a 45-year-old Ramsey man, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. At 1:35 a.m. on Nov. 15, Patrolman Anthony Fiore conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 17 North after observing a vehicle traveling without illuminated headlights. At the conclusion of field sobriety tests, the 30-year-old Mahwah driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Officer Diane Bornkamp was dispatched to an Interstate Shopping Center business at 2:19 p.m. on Nov. 20 for a shoplifter in custody. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 59-year-old Suffern, New York woman was arrested for shoplifting. On Nov. 21 at 12:52 p.m., Patrolman Hines was dispatched to an Interstate Shopping Center business for a shoplifter in custody. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 68-year-old Ringwood man was arrested for shoplifting. New members welcomed The Greater Ramsey Chapter of UNICO recently inducted two new members, Nat Buonfiglio and John DeRinaldi. Ramsey Chapter President Ron Muzzillo presided over the induction. The Greater Ramsey Chapter also invited the beneficiaries from the wine tasting event held in September. They presented each charity -- Director of Development Michelle Andryshak, Shelter Our Sisters; and CEO Lenore Guido, Gilda’s Club -- with $5,400.
