April 22, 2009 THE VILLADOM TIMES IV • Page 7 Ramsey On June 29, The Kenneth “BK” Kaprowski Scholarship Foundation will award its 12th annual scholarship at a dinner at The Ramsey Golf and Country Club in Ramsey. It is the intent of The Foundation to award an annual scholarship to the boy who exhibits the qualities that best reflect the likeness of Kenneth “BK” Kaprowski. “BK,” as he was affectionately known, was a graduate of Don Bosco Prep and a member of Saint Paul Parish. He was a sophomore at Villanova University when he was killed on July 18, 1997. As a memorial to Kaprowski, a scholarship is awarded each year to a Saint Paul Kenneth Kaprowski Foundation to award 12th Annual Scholarship Parish boy attending Don Bosco Prep High School who meets certain criteria set forth by the foundation’s trustees. The selection committee is comprised of teachers, school administrators, clergy, and other highly respected individuals from Ramsey and its surrounding communities. All Saint Paul Parish boys who attend a New Jersey accredited private or public grammar school attending Don Bosco Prep are eligible.
