He was a Realtor with Weichert in Ridgewood and Liberty Realty of Hoboken. He is survived by his son Patrick Bitbol, one step grandchild, his sibling Gaby Wolforth, and his former spouse Marlene Bitbol. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Inc. in Fair Lawn. Julia P. Davies, nee Prince, of Melbourne Beach, Florida and Sea Girt, formerly of Franklin Lakes, died Aug. 30. She was 76. She was a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Franklin Lakes, past president of the League of Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, and past president of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Little Sisters of the Poor in Totowa. She ran the Hospital Bridge which beneﬁted the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood and Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson. She is survived by her husband Frank J. “Buzz” Davies, Jr., her children Robert F., Francis J. “Terry,” Michael T., Thomas K. and Matthew P., 11 grandchildren, and her siblings Mary P. Charlotte Dietrich of Ho-Ho-Kus died Sept. 3. She was 98. She was a member of the Ho-Ho-Kus Seniors, the Woman’s Club, the Hermitage, and the Valley Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by her children Charlotte Schlindwein of Saddle Brook and Inge Kerlin of Cape May, seven grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Doyle, formerly of Ridgewood, died Aug. 28. He was 80. He had a tax and accounting practice in Allendale and Ramsey. He was a parishioner at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church in Ridgewood. He is survived by his wife Lil (nee Norton), his children Dermot of Westwood, Deirdre of Virginia, Kathleen of Missouri, Kevin of Morristown, and Sheila Lorant of Massachusetts; eight grandchildren; and his siblings James, Thomas, Nuala Browne, John, and William. Patricia Gail Erickson, nee Arnold, of Wyckoff, formerly of Midland Park, died Aug. 30. She was 51. She was a former bank teller for Citizens First National Bank of Hawthorne. She is survived by her husband Paul R. Erickson Jr. of Wyckoff, her children Krista and Brandon Erickson, both of Wyckoff, her mother Elizabeth Arnold, and her brothers William Arnold of Wyckoff and Douglas Arnold of Texas. James Robert McGrath III of Paramus, formerly of Ridgewood, died Aug. 29. He was 58. He was a house manager at Harrison House in Paramus for Buddies of New Jersey, for the last 12 years. Previously, he was a traveling chef with the Grateful Dead, KISS, David Bowie, and other notable rock n’ roll artists. He is survived by his mother Kathryn L. McGrath of Waldwick, his siblings Rick of Ridgewood and Barbara Gorga of Waldwick, four nieces and nephews, and three great nieces and nephews. She had been a teacher. She is survived by her son George Shannon of Miami, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband Herbert Shannon. Arrangements were made by Browning Forshay Funeral Home in Hawthorne. Adeline M. Shipp of Mahwah, formerly of Pompton Lakes, died Aug. 29. She was 101. Before retiring at age 90, she was an administrative assistant at National Veterinary Laboratory in Franklin Lakes. She was a Sunday school teacher at the Dutch Reformed Church in Pompton Lakes. She was a member of the Pompton Lakes First Aid Squad and was the ﬁrst female to drive the ambulance. She started the ﬁrst Girl Scout Troop in Pompton Lakes, which became the largest troop in the nation at the time. Later being inducted into the Juliet Lowe Circle, she remained active in Girl Scouting for most of her life. She was president of the PTA in Pompton Lakes during the early 1950s. She is survived by her son Dr. Robert Shipp of Manhattan, her brother Kenneth Marsters of Graham, North Carolina, her grand nieces Debra Clark of Kearny and Gretchen Jean Moncelsi, and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, great grand nieces and nephews.
