Newcomers plan holiday party The Allendale Newcomers Club will host its Annual Holiday Party on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 8 p.m. to midnight. There will be hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and great company. Archer hosts Open House Archer Cooperative Nursery School will host a Fall Open House on Tuesday, Nov. 17 and Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Attendees will have an opportunity to tour the school and to meet the staff. Archer is a non-sectarian, cooperative nursery school. Parents have the opportunity to be part of the child’s preschool experience. In an effort to accommodate all families, a non-coop option is also available. Archer offers al balanced curriculum to help prepare a child both socially and academically for kindergarten. Archer Cooperative Nursery School is located at 37 East Allendale Avenue, Allendale (at the corner of Franklin Turnpike). Calvary holds Advent Craft Workshop Calvary Lutheran Church and Christian Nursery School will hold its annual Advent Craft Workshop on Sunday, Dec. 6 from 3 to 5 p.m. All are invited to share in this family event.
