He was an auto mechanic before becoming an installerrepairman with New York Bell Telephone Company. He was a parishioner at Church of the Guardian Angel in Allendale. He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth of Mahwah and Margaret of Waldwick, and several cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret. Jon Webb Davis, formerly of Wyckoff, died May 20. He was 32. He had worked as a case manager and field supervisor for AHRC New York City. Previously he had worked as a group home supervisor at Eastern Christian Children’s Retreat in Wyckoff. He is survived by his wife Monica, his daughter Hope, his parents Joe and Carolyn Davis of Newbury Park, California, his siblings Kati Peterson of Lake Stevens, Washington, Sarah Dunn of New York, New York, and Jeff Davis of Yokosuka, Japan. Deeks, nee Tancik, of Ridgewood, formerly of Midland Park, died May 20. She was 89. She had worked as a health home companion. She had served as president of the Girls Scout Council of Lake Placid in the 1940s. She was active in the Democratic Party Organization while living in Midland Park. She is survived by her children Arthur of Lewes, Delaware, and Jonathan of Franklin, North Carolina, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was 33. She was a teacher at the Paul R. Smith Middle School in Holiday, Florida. She was a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She is survived by her husband Peter, her mother Lesley Johnson of Tarpon Springs, Florida, her father George Johnson of Midland Park, her brother Tim, and her Aunt Barb and Uncle Ken. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was a professional musician. He was a teacher at the Crescent Nursery School. He is survived by his sister Barbara Vasil of California and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his six other siblings. Gerald V. Marrazzo of Bergen County died May 20. He was 68. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Before retiring he was a program manager for IBM in Franklin Lakes. He is survived by his wife Kathryn, his daughters Terry Ziegner, Krissy Sciarra, and Kathy Marrazzo, four grandchildren, and his sister Connie Van Orden. He was predeceased by his brother Leo. James Stephen McEntegart of Saddle River and Jupiter Island, Florida died May 20. He was 84. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He was president of the family firm McEntegart Construction Company, specializing in the construction of churches and cathedrals in New York and New Jersey. He expanded the firm, and over the next 25 years built numerous schools, municipal buildings, commercial office buildings, and apartment complexes in New Jersey and Florida. He was president of Melmac Management Company, Inc., a commercial real estate management company located in Montvale. He served on the Board of Directors of Citizens First National Bank, and the planning boards in Park Ridge and Saddle River. He was a member of Arcola Country Club in Paramus, and Jupiter Hills Club, Tequesta, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Brennan McEntegart, his daughters JoAnne McEntegart McCoy and Ellen Blake Milliken, two grandchildren, one great grandson, and his sister, Dorothy Armstrong. Mary Elizabeth Schneider, nee Appert, of Allendale died May 18. She was 88. During World War II, she was employed by Wright Aeronautical Corporation in Paterson, serving her country and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. She was a member of the Ridgewood Woman’s Club and the Ho-Ho-Kus Woman’s Club, where she was past president. She is survived by her children Kathy Stoler of Allendale, Pat Barnes of Christiana, Texas and Paul Schneider of Cromwell, Connecticut, four grandsons, four great granddaughters, and her brothers Edward “Pat” of Fairfax, Virginia and Paul “Doc” Appert, and her companion Joseph Graham of Ridgewood. She was a registered pediatric nurse who worked as a school nurse at Westside Presbyterian Nursery School and later at Community Blood Services in Paramus. Before retiring she was a privateduty nurse for over 10 years. She volunteered as directress of the Cottage Place, Ridgewood and was director of the Saddle River Chapter of the Kurth Cottage Women’s Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband Calvin W.
