Valley Hospital honors volunteers at annual dinner
was the recipient of the Heart of Valley Award. This award recognizes dedication, commitment and above all, spirit. Warmth and good humor are gifts this award recipient so easily shares with others. This award is presented to unique volunteers who touch Valley in a special way. Also recognized at this year’s annual Volunteer Recognition event was Ruth Herrick of Saddle River, who was honored for 40 years of service as a Valley volunteer.

Volunteers who devote their time and talents to The Valley Hospital and Valley Home Care were honored recently at the annual Volunteer Recognition Awards Dinner. The awards included the evening’s most prestigious recognition, the Volunteer for All Seasons award, the Heart of Valley award, and honors for years of service. The Volunteer for All Seasons award was bestowed
upon Tuxedo Park, New York, resident Martin Lavanhar. This award is given to an individual who, through extraordinary service, has made a difference in the lives of Valley’s patients, staff and the community.
