The Allendale Chamber established its scholarship program to recognize and assist outstanding high school students who intend to pursue the study of business and/or retail and marketing at an institution of higher learning. Griffoul, an Allendale resident, has been a member of DECA since 2006, and has received top awards in various competitions. He created GTech, a computer sales, repair, and maintenance business. He is an Eagle Scout and member of Boy Scout Troop 59, and a member of the National Honor Society.
