Road, and back to East Saddle River Road and into Lions Park. To ensure the safety of the participants, police officers and volunteers will be stationed at each point of access to the race course and will ask motorists wishing to drive on the course to wait until the last participants have passed, or will direct those motorists to follow detours. The USR Recreation Commission apologizes for the temporary inconvenience and is grateful for the community’s cooperation. The race is not expected to affect any street for more than one hour. Based on the anticipated pace of the fastest and slowest participants, anticipated street closures should unfold as follows: East Saddle River Road South, closed 8 a.m. through 9:45 a.m.; Old Stone Church Road, in its entirety, closed 8:30 a.m. through 10 a.m.; West Saddle River Road North, closed 8:30 a.m. through 10 a.m.; and Lake Street West, closed 8:15 a.m. through 10:15 a.m. The Youth Triathlon is a swimming, biking, and running competition for children ages eight through 14. The children will begin their swim at the Saddle River Valley Swim & Tennis Club, bike to Lions Park, and finish the running portion at Lions Park.
