Brookside and Hillside celebrate being ‘tops’
Brookside and Hillside schools recently conducted Box Top parties. Classes collected box tops and the class with the most box tops in their school were treated to parties by the Allendale PTO. Allendale walkathon
(continued from page 11) The walkathon will begin at 11 a.m. and end at approximately 2 p.m. at Northern Highlands, 298 Hillside Avenue, Allendale. Registration will take place at the high school track, and costs $10. Food, beverages, music, and prizes will also be available. Malaria is the leading killer of children in Africa. It infects over 500 million people a year, of which it kills over 1 million. Thus far, Nothing but Nets has raised over $1 million and sent 2,618,776 malaria nets to countries in need through individual and large scale efforts. Anyone who would like to individually raise money to help fight malaria or would like to learn more about Nothing but Nets, is invited to visit www.nothingbutnets. org.
