He had been a CPA in Ho-Ho-Kus for 19 years. He was a member of Masonic Cincinnati Lodge #3 where he was 32d Degree Shrine, North America. He was a member of NJSCPA in Roseland .He is survived by his wife Marcia, and her children Jacqueline Fisher-Dunnegan, Jeffrey Fisher, and Steven Fisher, and six grandchildren. John Mailler Handley of Ridgewood died April 23. He was 82. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Before retiring, he was senior vice president of Industrial Acoustics Company, where he was employed for 39 years. He was a member of the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood. He was the 2002 recipient of the Village of Ridgewood’s Volunteer of the Year and the 2004 Laurence G. Meads Award for Outstanding Service to Youth. He was president of the board of directors for the CAMP-YPD, an after school and summer program for underprivileged children in Paterson. He is survived by his wife Suzanne, his children Kurt, Tony, Kathleen, and Nicholas Handley, and one granddaughter. There will be a memorial service on May 30 at 1 p.m. at the Unitarian Society, 113 Cottage Place in Ridgewood. Memorial donations may be made to the Unitarian Society Endowment Fund. Patrick Kane of Ramsey died April 29. He was employed as a salesman for Monarch Electric in West Caldwell. He is survived by his wife Maureen, nee O’Connell, his children Liam Patrick Kane and Brendan James Kane, and his brothers Edward, James, and Christopher. Koelln of Wyckoff died April 23. He was 94. He was employed by International Folding Box Company of Ridgefield and previously by Densen Banner of Ridgefield Park. He was a former member of Christ Lutheran Church in Ridgefield Park and was presently attending Advent Lutheran Church in Wyckoff. He is survived by his sister Dorothy Heitmann, nephews Bill Koelln, John Heitmann, Ken Heitmann and niece Melvin Eldridge Bush Marilyn Profores, and seven grand nieces and nephews. Elizabeth “Betty” Kolodynski of Skowhegan, Maine, formerly of Mahwah, died March 10. Before retiring she had worked as a seamstress in the NY/NJ area. She was a lifelong parishioner of Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church in Mahwah, and a member of the Notre Dame Catholic Church in Skowhegan. She is survived by her nieces and nephews Charles P. Paddock, Jeanette H. Paddock, Marilyn Ann Paddock and Jim Kostecky, five great nieces and nephews, and four great, great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley Kolodynski. He is survived by his wife, Annabelle (nee Mahoney) Kreher of Midland Park, his daughters, Jody Earley of Ridgewood, Jill Mayne of Westborough, Massachusetts, Jamie Shay of Brussels, Belgium and Jan Policastro of Ho-Ho-Kus, eight grandchildren, one great grandson, and his sister Dorothy. He was a member of Baseball of Hackensack from 1957 to 1967, serving as chairman from 1964 to 1965. He was past president of the Jackson Avenue PTA. He was a member of the Hackensack Board of Education from 1965 to 1970. He served on the Waldwick Zoning Board. He was a member of the Golden Club of Waldwick, Honorary Citizen of Boys Town, and member of Saint Elizabeth’s Church in Wyckoff. He is survived by his children John Sedlack, Jr. of Wyckoff, Robert Sedlack of New Hope, PA and Teresa Skjold of Ramsey, six grandchildren, and his brother William Sedlack of Hackensack. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Fidelity Lodge #113 in Ridgewood. She is survived by her children Rusty of Ohio, her son in law Steve Wilson, five granddaughters, and 14 great grandchildren.
