The original deadline had been Monday, but New Jersey officials extended the deadline to Wednesday in light of Monday’s inclement weather. Allendale Two seats are available on the Allendale K-8 Board of Education. Incumbent Ellen Hillman and newcomers Lynn Barsamian and Mark McAuliffe have filed. Ho-Ho-Kus Candidates file for seats on local school boards There is no contest in Ho-Ho-Kus, where incumbents Robert Inglima and Michaela Donadio have filed for the two available seats. Northern Highlands The Northern Highlands Board of Education election features a contest for the available Allendale seat, and no contest for the one available Upper Saddle River seat. James Mulanaphy and Gail Trumbetti will seek to retain their Allendale seats. They will be challenged by newcomer Lisa Tannenbaum. Lori Loughnane of Upper Saddle River has filed for reelection and will run uncontested. Upper Saddle River Three seats are available on the Upper Saddle River Board of Education. Celia Galimi and Robert Wei have filed for reelection to their seats, and Catherine Smiechowski, who was named to fill an unexpired term in January, will run for a full three-year term.
