In celebration, Mayor Kenneth Gabbert will present Kroner with a plaque congratulating him on becoming a centenarian and in appreciation of the resident’s dedication of his Kroner to be first centenarian honored by borough entire life to the betterment of the community. Kroner ran the family business, Kroner Farm, on West Saddle River Road. The farm was known throughout the county as the place for strawberries. The plaque reads, “In honor of those unique pioneer citizens who have attained 100 years of age and who have resided in Upper Saddle River for over 35 years.” The borough will continue to honor long-time residents as they become centenarians.
