She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church, Ridgewood, a pastoral care minister at the Valley Hospital, and a member of the Legion of Mary. She is survived by her husband Andre E. Broussard, her children Andre and Jean-Marcel Broussard, Elizabeth Broussard-Hakimi, M.D., Edwin Broussard, and Veronique Broussard, two grandchildren, her parents Heechoon and Yijin Choi, and her siblings Hyunki Lambert, Soonki Roh, Inki Choi, Myungki Choi. Arrangements were made by Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Frederick J. Brunner of Ridgewood died May 25. He was 69. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a salesman for IBM Corp. for 40 years and an instructor at the Advanced Business Institute. He was a former photographer and member of the Ridgewood High School Football Scholarship Committee. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Ridgewood. He is survived by his wife Geraldine “Gae” Brunner of Ridgewood, his children, Thomas of Wyckoff, Matthew of River Edge, Christian of Ho-Ho-Kus, and Kate of New York City, 10 grandchildren, and his brother, James Brunner of Charlotte, North Carolina. Joyce Campanella of Waldwick, formerly of Mahwah and Glen Rock, died May 24. She was 74. Holmes of Ridgewood died May 22. He was 81. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He had worked for 37 years as an electrical engineer in defense communications at ITT in Nutley. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church in Ridgewood. He had been a Ridgewood Little League coach, a pitcher for the Ridge Restaurant in the Ridgewood Summer Softball League and belonged to the Ridgewood School Bowling League. He is survived by his Waldwick Watch Scholarship Dance scheduled The Scholarship Dance to benefit the Class of 2010 will be held June 20 from 8 p.m. to midnight at Waldwick High School. Knights to host Golf Outing Saint Luke’s Knights of Columbus Council is holding its annual College Scholarship Golf Outing on Monday, June 15 at the Meadows Golf Course in Lincoln Park. June films feature war stories Waldwick Public Library hosts screenings of classic films on Thursdays at 2 p.m. A brief introduction setting the film in its historical context will precede each screening. The theme for the month of June is War Stories, and the schedule follows: June 4, “The African Queen” (1951); June 11, “Stalag 17” (1953); June 18, “Mister Roberts” (1955); June 25, “The Bridges at Toko-Ri” (1954). Traphagen hosts Arts Festival Traphagen School will hold its Ninth Annual Arts Festival on Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The festival will include face painting, “tattoos,” a tie-dye T-shirt craft, art activities, a caricaturist, bagels, hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn and other refreshments, with the backdrop on the students’ art on display throughout the school campus. She is survived by her husband Steven, her children Kimberly and Thomas, her parents Jules and Souad Mazzawi of Emerson, her siblings Rony Mazzawi of Emerson, and Said and Lissa Mazzawi of Gouldsboro, Pennsylvania.
