According to Dr. Alfred Gigante of the Back Pain Center in Waldwick, it is rare to see exactly identical types of pain, even among patients all diagnosed with the same medical condition. His facility is now offering a free report on things you can do at home to relieve back pain. Eighty percent of Americans are affected by back pain at some time in their lives. It comes in many forms, from lower back pain, middle back pain, or upper back pain, to low back pain with sciatica. Common back pain causes include nerve and muscular problems, degenerative disc disease, and arthritis. Back pain can exist in any one region of the back or in multiple areas at the same time. Pain can be localized to one side or can be a band of pain wrapping across the width of the back. The pattern of back pain might be tied to a certain movement or could be painful all the time. Pain can be a symptom by itself or might be joined with other sensory sensations. The most common of these additional symptoms are numbness, tingling, and weakness. Lower back pain has been described by some doctors as Back pain relief is available the most painful condition a person could possibly experience in their life, according to Dr. Gigante. “Anyone who suffers from severe back pain knows how true that statement is,” added the local chiropractor. “We have seen patients walk into our office with pain too torturous to endure, and fortunately have been able to help them because of the numerous techniques available at our facility. “With some of the new technology available today, there is new hope for many chronic back pain sufferers,” added Dr. Gigante, “Spinal decompression is the newest approach to safely, comfortably, and non-surgically treat the actual cause of back pain.” Dr Gigante, who specializes in the treatment of low back pain, encourages all back pain sufferers to visit a chiropractor, physical therapist, or medical doctor who is using spinal decompression to learn more. The Back Pain Center is offering a complimentary consultation and initial treatment to anyone suffering from back or leg pain. In most cases, same day treatment is available.
