Sherry Ann Adams, nee Rash, of Ramsey and Fortville, Indiana, died Feb. 1. She was 77. She had taught fourth grade in Upper Saddle River for 30 years. She is survived by her children Douglas of Virginia Beach, Virignia, Eric of Portland, Oregon, and Emily O’Brien of Englewood, and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Richard H. Adams, her brother Ted Rash of Ingalls, Indiana, and her parents Egbert L. and Margaret Wood Rash. A memorial service is planned for friends and family later this spring at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey. Arrangements were made by Seals Funeral Home in Fortville, Indiana. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Robbinsville, NJ 08691-4183. Frank Joseph Cimaglia of Mahwah, formerly of Midland Park, died Feb. 3. He was 80. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was an electrician with the Ford Motor Company in Mahwah for 26 years. He also was employed as an electrician at Ramapo College of New Jersey for eight years. He was a representative for the United Auto Workers union and a member of the American Legion. He was a volunteer Little League Baseball coach in Mahwah for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife Josephine Cimaglia, nee Montegna, his children Salvatore Cimaglia, Jo Ann Cimaglia and Anthony Cimaglia, and nine grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey. Mary Cecilia DeCrescenzo, nee Contento, of Midland Park, formerly of Ho-Ho-Kus, died Feb. 2. She was 83. She had worked as a librarian for the Ho-Ho-Kus Public School. She was a member of Saint Luke’s RC Church in Ho-HoKus and its choir. She is survived by her children Michael DeCrescenzo, Susan DeCrescenzo, Peter DeCrescenzo, Barbara Grimes, Donna DeCrescenzo, Anne Rimler, and Frances Stipe, and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Armando and her daughter Catherine Anne DeCrescenzo. Arrangements were made by Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Memorial donations
may be made to Saint Luke’s RC Church, 340 North Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ 07423. Marie “Betty” Lowe of Ridgewood died Jan. 29. She taught in the New York City school system for over 40 years. She was a parishioner of Saint Catharine RC Church in Glen Rock. She was an associate with the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Peace in Englewood Cliffs, and was a volunteer at Villa Marie Claire in Saddle River. She received the Jubilee Medal at Saint Catharine’s. She is survived by her cousin Barbara Dabrowski of Oradell, sister-in-law Barbara Lowe of London, England, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents John A. and Mathilde (nee Heaney) Lowe, and her siblings Rev. Jack Lowe, S.J., and Edward Lowe of London, England. Arrangements were made by Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Patricia Ives Orr of Ramsey died Feb. 4. She was 80. Before retiring in 1997, she was an executive secretary for Sealed Air Corporation in Saddle Brook. She was a 60 year member of the P.E.O. sisterhood and a member of Archer United Methodist Church in Allendale She is survived by her children John Richard of River Vale and David Gregg of Florence, five grandchildren, and her brother John Ackert Ives of Saint Louis, Missouri. Arrangements were made by Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey. A memorial service will be held at the Archer United Methodist Church in Allendale at a later date. Roberts, nee Murray, of Allendale died Feb. 2. She was 86. Marine Corps veteran. He was vice president of taxes for Sumitomo Corporation of America in New York City. He was a parishioner of Saint Gabriel’s R.C. Church in Saddle River. He is survived by his wife Irene (nee Mariani), his children Gerard of Mahwah and Jill Marmo of Hoboken, and his siblings Thomas Tibbs of Oakland, Frances Henderson of Bergenfield, and Margaret Vietri of Ringwood. Mildred C. Unger of Wyckoff died Jan. 31. She was 80. Before retiring in 1992, she was a desk clerk for the Wyckoff Public Library working for 16 years. Previous to that she had worked as a medical technician at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson until she began her family. She was a member of the Wyckoff Reformed Church, the Valley Hospital Auxiliary, Meals on Wheels, and past president of the Wyckoff Protection Fire Company 1 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a volunteer with the Wyckoff Public Library. She is survived by her children Michael Unger of Amherst, New Hampshire, Timothy Unger of Huntington Station, New York, and Cindy Coviello of Wharton, and eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband George, her parents Catherine and Howard Goellner, and her sister Rosalie Goellner. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff.
