The night will start with the “Lighting of the Tree” in front of the AB&G (Allendale Bar & Grill) at 7 p.m. Afterwards, local businesses and civic organizations will offer holiday cheer to all families strolling along West Allendale Avenue. Holiday music will be provided by Matt O’Connor of Terrie O’Connor Realtors, while the children anxiously await the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will be chauffeured by the Allendale Fire Department to Bank of DEC. 4TH 7-9PM The members of the Allendale Chamber of Commerce extend an invitation to all Allendale residents to attend the Chamber welcomes community to Holiday Walk America at 7:30 p.m. Free parking is available in the New Jersey Transit parking lot across from the Allendale Train Station and next to the A&P Shopping Mall. Chamber member Terrie O’Connor Realtors will be running a coat drive through Dec. 15 for the Jersey Cares Coat Drive. Please stop by at 75 West Allendale Avenue, Allendale during the Holiday Walk or before Dec. 15 to drop off any unused coats for this worthwhile cause.
