Saddle River August 5, 2009 THE VILLADOM TIMES III • Page 5 Homes slated for demolition Two houses situated on contiguous lots on East Allendale Road in Saddle River are slated for demolition in the near future. The borough acquired the properties for a total of approximately $1 million with the idea that affordable housing may need to be constructed on that land. Both properties are located across from Saddle River Police Headquarters and the Wandell School. The borough has determined that the houses, one of which was constructed in the 1920s and the other in the mid-19th century, are not of use to the municipality. The land is less than one acre, but is considered viable for a future affordable housing proposal. DAR recognizes three Good Citizens Anna Yeong Kim with Stephanie Coppola; Michael Fundaro.
