The award was be presented at Eva’s “Visions of Hope” benefit gala at Mayfair Farms in West Orange. Chief Executive Officer Paul Van Ostenbridge and his wife Karen accepted the award. For 25 years, Atlantic Stewardship has been providing quality financial service to businesses and individual consumers. In addition, the bank was designed to tithe, or share, 10 percent of its profits annually with Christian charities and non-profit organizations. Eva’s Village has been one of the many recipients of the bank’s generosity over the years. During the gala, a special lifetime recognition award was presented to Rev. Msgr. Vincent E. Puma, founder of Eva’s Village. For the past 30 years, he has worked tirelessly to establish the comprehensive anti-poverty programs of Eva’s Village. Even in his retirement he encourages others to support Eva’s mission to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, treat the addicted, and provide medical and dental care to the poor. Renewing their sponsorship of the gala is a long time Paterson business, Machinery Services Corp. and Rapid Pump & Meter Services. “We are so grateful to Rich and Aleta Taylor and their family for providing a major sponsorship through their Paterson based companies” commented Sister Gloria Perez, executive director of Eva’s Village.
