Children in the Glen Rock Jewish Center (GRJC) Nursery School learned all about the fall Jewish holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Hank Says...
The Ridgewood Police Department is investigating two burglaries, and a car theft. On Sept. 25, a Lynn Street resident reported that, upon returning home at 10:15 p.m., the glass on the back door had been broken and the bedrooms were ransacked. Jewelry, cash, and computer equipment were taken. The Bergen County Sheriff’s Department Bureau of Criminal Investigation is joining the Ridgewood Police Department in the investigation.
Police investigate burglaries, car theft
On Sept. 28, the manager of Ken Smith Motors reported that a 2008 Crown Victoria that had recently been traded in was stolen over the weekend. Police are investigating. Another burglary that had taken place some weeks before was reported on Sept. 22. A resident of Hope Street said he noticed that several pieces of jewelry were stolen five or six weeks in the past and that there had been no signs of forcible entry. Police are investigating. J.
