Holiday Bazaar �� Glen Rock High School senior Meghan Callanan (seated) signs her letter of intent to the University of Delaware surrounded by Varsity Head Coach Karen Mackie, Athletic Director Frank Violante, and Principal Jim McCarthy. �� Meghan Callanan recently became the first female Glen Rock High School player to formally commit to a Division I women’s lacrosse program. In a brief ceremony held at the high school, Callanan signed a national letter of intent to the University of Delaware. Callanan, a midfielder for the team, will serve as captain for the 2010 season, the fifth for the girls’ lacrosse program at Glen Rock. “Meghan is a terrific player and leader – and just an all around terrific person. I’m looking forward to her continued leadership for another successful season for the team,” said Girls’ Varsity Head Coach Karen Mackie.
