He was employed as an accountant with Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick, and Coopers & Lybrand in Manhattan, later branching out into systems accounting, sales, and other entrepreneurial endeavors before retiring in 2001. He was a parishioner of Mount Carmel R.C. Church in Ridgewood, and a member of The Harlem Yacht Club of City Island, New York. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, his children Margaret “Peg” Dolson of Bridgewater, Gavin Cunningham and of Ridgewood, and Audrey Darby of Ridgewood, seven grandchildren, and his brother Robert Cunningham of Ocala, Florida. He was predeceased by his son John F.X. Cunningham. Arrangements were made by C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Del Percio of Ridgewood died April 30. He was 89. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He had worked for many years as a law book salesman for McGraw-Hill. He is survived by his children Ken, Maryann Smaila and Ben Jr., four grandchildren, and his sister Ann Lambro. He was predeceased by his wife Kate and his brother Gaetano Del Percio. John Mailler Handley of Ridgewood died April 23. He was 82. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Before retiring, he was senior vice president of Industrial Acoustics Company, where he was employed for 39 years. He John J. Cunningham was a member of the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood. He was the 2002 recipient of the Village of Ridgewood’s Volunteer of the Year and the 2004 Laurence G. Meads Award for Outstanding Service to Youth. He was president of the board of directors for the CAMP-YPD, an after school and summer program for underprivileged children in Paterson. He is survived by his wife Suzanne, his children Kurt, Tony, Kathleen, and Nicholas Handley, and one granddaughter. There will be a memorial service on May 30 at 1 p.m. at the Unitarian Society, 113 Cottage Place in Ridgewood. Memorial donations may be made to the Unitarian Society Endowment Fund. Louise Mangano, nee Cerrato, of Ridgewood died April 28. She was 98. Before retiring, she was a receptionist and technician for I.L.A. Medical Center in Brooklyn. She is survived by her children Michael James Mangano, Virginia Weber, one grandchild, and her brothers Anthony and Ralph Cerrato. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Mangano. Before retiring she was a school nurse at School #4 in Paterson, where she was employed for many years. She was a founding member of First Lutheran Evangelical Church in Clifton. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Fidelity Lodge #113 in Ridgewood. She is survived by her children Rusty of Ohio, her son in law Steve Wilson, five granddaughters, and 14 great grandchildren. Woman’s Club offers Spring House Tour The Junior Woman’s Club of Ridgewood will hold its annual Spring House Tour on Thursday, May 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The tour, which is a charity event, will feature six unique homes located in and around Ridgewood, including an Expanded Dutch Colonial, a Georgian Revival, an elegant Farmhouse Colonial, an Arts & Crafts-style home, a French Country Manor, and a Center-Hall Colonial. Interior decor styles range from minimalist to ornate, and Old-World to Contemporary. All homes feature design elements that are visually spectacular, making this year’s event one not to be missed. The annual Spring House Tour is the largest fundraiser hosted by the Junior Woman’s Club of Ridgewood, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community. The 2008 House Tour, which had over 1,000 attendees, raised close to $50,000. Last year the JWC awarded grants to over 25 charities including Children’s Aid and Family Services, The Several Sources Foundation, Shelter Our Sisters, Baby Basics, Camp Sunshine, and Social Services Association of Ridgewood.
