He is currently serving as a member of the Ridgewood Zoning Board of Adjustment. Harlow, a Naval Construction Battalion member during World War II, licensed professional engineer and former college professor, has been appointed as a regular member to a term that will expire on June 30, 2013. Fluent in French, German, and modern Greek, the Dartmouth graduate and active alumnus was famous during his terms as a member of the Ridgewood Village Council for the amount of time he put into detailed technical research, and for sometimes being the lone dissenter in council votes. David Parsekian was appointed as a regular member to fill an zoning board of adjustment unexpired term for one year. At the most recent public meeting, Nancy Bigos of the Ridgewood Parks and Recreation Department was appointed to a Class II regular term on the Ridgewood Planning Board that will end on June 30, 2010, Mayor David Pfund was appointed as a Class I member and Councilwoman Anne Zusy was appointed as a Class III member. Morgan Hurley and Anne Ward were appointed Class IV regular members to terms that expire in June of 2013, and former Council Member Thomas Riche was appointed to a two-year term as an alternate. Janet Fricke, assistant to the village manager, was appointed as the council’s liaison to the Community Development program. Appointments to the Community Center Advisory Board included Gregory Burde and James Griffith as senior citizen residents, Liz Kloack, Elia Desvuisseaux, Glen Jorgensen and Theresa Callaghan as adult residents, Lt. William Amoruso as liaison for the Ridgewood Police Department, Nancy Bigos as Parks and Recreation liaison and Sheila Brogan as Ridgewood Board of Education liaison.
