Before retiring, she was a media secretary in the Orchard School Library in Ridgewood. She was a member of Westside Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood and Highlights in Leisure Time, where she served as corresponding secretary. She is survived by her son John R. Flaker of Fair Lawn. She was predeceased by her husband John. Arrangements were made by Olthuis Funeral Home in Midland Park. Memorial donations may be made to The Valley Hospital Foundation, 223 North Van Dien Avenue Ridgewood, NJ 07450. Jerome C. Fleischer of Glen Rock died June 10. He was 87. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Before retiring in 1982, he was a chemist at Celanese Corp. in Clifton for 35 years. He was a volunteer at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenaﬂy. He had been a member of the Glen Rock Jewish Center. He is survived by his wife Muriel R. Fleischer, his children Howard L Fleischer and Eric J. Fleischer, MD, and one grandchild. Theresa Inserra, nee Barro, of Upper Saddle River, formerly of Lyndhurst and Rutherford, died June 6. She is survived by her children Lawrence R. Inserra, Jr., Marie Larie Larsen, and Laura Dupont, 11 grandchildren, and her sisters Ann Wilkes and Lillian Stefanic. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence R. Inserra and her son Carl. Joseph J. “Jay Kay” Kostialik of Wyckoff died June 7. He had been owner and proprietor of Jay Kay Seamless Gutter Supply. He was a parishioner of Saint Elizabeth’s R.C. Church in Wyckoff. He is survived by his children Joseph A. of Bentonville, Virginia, Kathe Crawford of Towaco, and Kristine Ziser of Pompton Plains, six grandchildren, one great grandson, and his brother Fred of Rockaway. Paulsen, nee Quackenbush, of Allendale died June 4. She was 94. She owned and her husband owned Bill’s Linoleum Shop in Suffern, New York. She was a member of the DAR and a member of Archer United Methodist Church in Allendale. She is survived by her children Fred of Wells, New York and Gary of Allendale, four grandchildren and ﬁve great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred Paulsen. Ringley of Wyckoff died June 5. She was 51. She was a registered nurse at Sloan-Kettering Memorial Hospital, New York City for many years. She was a parishioner of Saint Elizabeth’s R.C. Church in Wyckoff. She is survived by her mother, Mary (nee Faul) of Wyckoff, her brothers, Richard Ringley of Charlotte, North Carolina, Robert Ringley of Wyckoff and Steven Ringley of Wanaque. James Partick Ronayne Jr. of Buck Hill Falls, Pennsylvania, formerly of Glen Rock, died June 5. He was 58. He was owner of M&R Promotions and the Glen Rock Sports Page. He had been a ﬁnance manager for Brogan Cadillac of Ridgewood. He was active in the Glen Rock Jr. sports programs, coaching baseball, football, and basketball. He served as president of the Glen Rock Jr. Football Association. He was a partner in the Glen Rock Football Camp. He had been a coach for the New Jersey Rams. He is survived by his wife Laura Nancy Ronayne (nee Africano), his son Patrick of Hawthorne, and his sister Rosemary Richards of Little Silver. He was predeceased by his parents John P. and Rosemary, nee Murray Ronayne. Arrangements were made by C.C. Van Emburgh in Ridgewood. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He had worked for Ford Motor Company in Somerville, Massachusetts and in Mahwah before retiring. He was a 30-year member of the Waldwick American Legion Post #57. He is survived by his wife Jeanette, his children David, of New Windsor, New York, Christine of Bridgewater, and one grandson. He was predeceased Katherine E. Paulsen by his parents Ignacy and Sady, and his siblings Louis, Joseph, and Eugieniusz in Poland. Arrangements were made by Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. She was a parishioner of the Old Paramus Reformed Church in Ridgewood. She is survived by her daughter Sharon Daly of Melville, New York. She was predeceased by her husband Robert E.
