February 25, 2009 THE VILLADOM TIMES II • Page 15 Ridgewood West Side Presybterian hosts Ridgewood Concert Band The Ridgewood Concert Band recently performed at West Side Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood. The next concert -- entitled “Spring Break!” -- will be on March 20 at West Side Presbyterian Church. The upcoming performance will feature the Millikin University Wind Ensemble and Conductor Gary Shaw. Frank L. Battisti, conductor emeritus of the New England Conservatory of Music, will appear as guest conductor. The band will perform the music of Persichetti, Husa, Newman, Jacob, and Milhaud. Tickets will be available at the door. Tickets for adults are $20; seniors pay $15, and students pay $7. Children 13 and younger will be admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.
