Page 4 THE VILLADOM TIMES II • February 11, 2009 Ridgewood The Junior Woman’s Club of Ridgewood will hold its annual Spring House Tour on Thursday, May 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This fundraiser will feature six unique homes located in and around Ridgewood, including an expanded Dutch Colonial, a Georgian Revival, an elegant Farmhouse Colonial, an Arts & Crafts-style home, a French Country Manor, and a Center-Hall Colonial. Interior decor styles range from minimalist to ornate, and old-world to contemporary. All homes feature design elements that are visually spectacular, making this year’s event one not to be missed. “The Junior Woman’s Club of Ridgewood is excited to present the 2009 House Tour. This is always a very rewarding day for the members of our Club. The homes this year are brilliant, each one unique in architecture and décor -every tour-goer will ﬁnd a home that appeals to (his or her) own taste. Participants will be able to enjoy lunch in downtown Ridgewood where there is a wide variety of dining establishments. “In further support of our community, we have coordinated ‘dine-in’ and ‘take-away’ House Tour Specials with a number of local eateries, including Fratelli Trattoria, located across from Van Neste Park. We encourage tour-goers to experience the full ﬂavor of our village by sampling our wonderful restaurants and strolling through our vibrant business district.” The annual Spring House Tour is the largest fundraiser hosted by the Junior Woman’s Club of Ridgewood, a nonproﬁt organization dedicated to serving the community. The 2008 House Tour, which had over 1,000 attendees, raised close to $50,000. Last year, the JWC awarded grants to over 25 charities including Children’s Aid and Family Services, The Several Sources Foundation, Shelter Our Sisters, Baby Basics, Camp Sunshine, and Social Services Association of Ridgewood.
