Before retiring in 1991, he was director of administration with K.P.M.G. Accounting in New York and Montvale. He attended Mount Carmel RC Church in Ridgewood, and was a former member of the Glen Rock Board of Education. He was a founding member and past president of the Glen Rock Junior Football Association. He is survived by his children Carlo D. III of Glen Rock, John D. of Suffern, New York, Michael of Texas, James C. of Wyckoff, Dorothy K. Gallagher of Virginia, Margot O’Connor of Virginia, and Eleana Cella of Glen Rock, 10 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and his siblings Robert Cella of Ramsey, Marion Banta of Waldwick, and Michaela Cella of Virginia. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy Anne Cella. Arrangements were made by C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Marie “Betty” Lowe of Ridgewood died Jan. 29. She taught in the New York City school system for over 40 years. She was a parishioner of Saint Catharine RC Church in Glen Rock. She was an associate with the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Peace in Englewood Cliffs, and was a volunteer at Villa Marie Claire in Saddle River. She received the Jubilee Medal at Saint Catharine’s. She is survived by her cousin Barbara Dabrowski of Oradell, sister-in-law Barbara Lowe of London, England, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents John A. and Mathilde (nee Heaney) Lowe, and her siblings Rev. Jack Lowe, S.J., and Edward Lowe of London, England. Arrangements were made by Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Martin V. Quinn of Ridgewood died Jan. 29. He was 61. He was president and chief executive officer of MQ Energy, LLC and served on the board directors of MMC Energy, Inc. Previously he had been executive vice president, chief operating officer, and chief financial officer at Ridgewood Power. He also had been employed with Price Waterhouse in New York, NERCO, Inc. in Portland, Carlo D. Cella Jr. Oregon, and Brown-Forman in Louisville, Kentucky. He had received a distinguished governor’s appointment to the Oregon State Marine Board and became president of the Tom McCall Chapter of the Northwest Steelheaders. He also served on the board of directors of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He was an amateur ham radio operator and a private pilot. He was a member of the Tuxedo Club. He is survived by his wife Ellen Quinn (nee Moss) of Ridgewood, his daughter Blair Wullschlager of Denver, Colorado, and his sisters Margaret McGarry of West Haven, Connecticut and Mary Terese Russin of West Pittston, Pennsylvania. Arrangements were made by Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Ann A. Saltwick, nee McDonnell, of Wyckoff, formerly of Glen Rock died Jan. 30. She was 89. She was a member of Saint Catharine RC Church in Glen Rock and a volunteer at the Kurth Cottage at Valley Hospital. She is survived by her children Judy O’Neil of Middletown, Rhode Island, Nancy Murphy of Wyckoff, Carol McCoy of Winter Park, Florida, and Paul Saltwick of Wayne, six grandchildren, and her sister Catherine Volkens of Seaford, New York. Tarta, her children Steven Tarta of Englewood, Lydia Tarta of Wayne, Dr. Joseph A. Tarta of Rye, New Hampshire, and Marianne Haggerty of Glen Rock, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Irene (nee Mariani), his children Gerard of Mahwah and Jill Marmo of Hoboken, and his siblings Thomas Tibbs of Oakland, Frances Henderson of Bergenfield, and Margaret Vietri of Ringwood. She was a member of the Wyckoff Reformed Church, the Valley Hospital Auxiliary, Meals on Wheels, and past president of the Wyckoff Protection Fire Company 1 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a volunteer with the Wyckoff Public Library. She is survived by her children Michael Unger of Amherst, New Hampshire, Timothy Unger of Huntington Station, New York, and Cindy Coviello of Wharton, and eight grandchildren.
