Some of the critics are observing. Ridgewood Councilman Paul Aronsohn has submitted the village’s affordable housing plan to Bergen County for a possible Municipal Accessibility Recognition Award. Village Planner Blais Brancheau approved Aronsohn’s initiative to submit the plan, which could, if approved, lead to financial support for Ridgewood’s plans and programs. The submission shows that Ridgewood has complied with the standards required and is thus eligible for county awards for supplying housing based on standards from the Council on Affordable Housing. J.
