Glen Rock December 2, 2009 THE VILLADOM TIMES II • Page 3 Volunteers serve Thanksgiving dinner to those in need by John Koster Students from Glen Rock High School’s Interact Club, children from the Academy of Our Lady, Girl Scouts, and the community at large joined forces to prepare a Thanksgiving meal and gifts for homeless mothers and children. “They come because they want to help people who are less privileged that those of us from Glen Rock,” said Sophia Chao, president of the Glen Rock High School Interact group. Interact Advisor Debbie Brolsma said about 75 students from Glen Rock High came out to help. Some arrived the night before, to decorate Fellowship Hall with streamers and posters, others starting before 10 a.m. to help cook the lay out the traditional meal.
