On July 28, a William Street resident reported coming home and finding the house ransacked. Someone had Police investigate car theft, home burglary broken in through a rear door. Cash and electronics were stolen. On July 30, a Melrose Place resident reported that someone had entered his vehicle during the night. The vehicle had been parked in his driveway, but was unlocked. A GPS and a radar detector were stolen. The incident is under investigation by the Ridgewood Detective Bureau. Anyone with information is asked to call the Ridgewood Police at (201) 652-3900.
