Library offers books discussions The Tea at 2 on Tuesday Book Discussion Group will chat about “The Spellman Files” by Lisa Lutz on Tuesday, April 21 at 2 p.m. The group meets in the Glen Rock Library’s reading room. The book is a spirited, funny debut from screenwriter Lutz that mixes chick-lit, mystery, and a dose of TV nostalgia. The story centers on Isabelle Spellman, a 28 year-old private investigator who works for her family’s PI agency. Written in a conversational first-person style that includes Izzy’s files, such as her list of ex-boyfriends and their exit lines, various mysteries all come together in a rush of humor and chaos. It’s all casual, swift, and hip. But the complex emotions associated with growing up and letting go, warm the tale. Multiple copies of the book are available at the reference desk. This afternoon group is the newest addition to the book discussion offerings at the Glen Rock Library.
