Page 4 THE VILLADOM TIMES I • September 23, 2009 Wyckoff Community Night School board hires two new teachers to support TNT Local resident Stephanie Schell and the Blue Moon Cafe of Wyckoff have teamed up to host a Community Night for Team in Training (TNT) of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on Wednesday, Oct. 7. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. The Wyckoff School Board hired two new teachers at the Sept. 14 meeting. Michelle Baldino was hired as a second grade teacher at Sicomac School at a salary of $52,555 at Step 4 with an MA. Laine Skonberg was hired as a first grade teacher at Lincoln School at a salary of $46,355 based on Step 2 of the salary guide. The board also accepted donations to the Sicomac and Coolidge schools at last week’s meeting. The Laura Ras Memorial Fund donated $250 toward the Outdoor Classroom at the Sicomac School. The Tode Landscape Company donated $1,920 in labor and planting material for courtyard organization at the Coolidge School. The Coolidge Parent Teacher Organization donated a total of $20,503, including $900 for the “Cougar” rug for the back entrance, $11,441 for a sound system upgrade for the gym, $1,205 for the music technology lab, $6,575 for the courtyard, and $381 for a new bookcase for the media center.
