He is survived by his wife, Frances (formerly Amarino), his children Debra and Christine, both of Allendale, four grandchildren, and his sisters Rose and Joan. He was predeceased by his parents Vincent and Hannah Capua. Arrangements were made by Van Embergh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey. Martin Joseph Donahue of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, formerly of Mahwah and Franklin Lakes, died Oct. 12. He was 80. He worked for Castrol Oil in Wayne for over 40 years and served as chief executive officer from 1964 to 1987. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Star by the Sea Church in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and a former parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Franklin Lakes. He was a former member of the planning and zoning boards in Franklin Lakes and had been active in the Franklin Lakes Recreation Department, coaching basketball and baseball. He was a member of the High Mountain Golf Club. He is survived by his children, James Donahue of Melborne, Florida, Gary Donahue of Chicago, Illinois, Nancy Donahue of Diamond Bar, California, and Joan Van Soest of Boonton, and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Joan Donahue (nee Burns), his son Martin Donahue and his brother Jack Donahue. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home in Franklin Lakes. He was a self-employed computer consultant. He was a member of the Wyckoff Fire Department, Sicomac Engine Company #3, on the board of directors at TransNet Corp., and a parishioner of Saint Elizabeth’s R.C. Church in Wyckoff. He is survived by his wife, Lynne (nee Michalko), his children, Diane Monaghan of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, and David Kunzig of Alfred John Capua Basking Ridge, four grandchildren, and his brothers, Richard Kunzig and Stephen Groseibl. Barbara Lazorchak, nee Dunn, of Centerville, Massachusetts, formerly of Pompton Lakes and Ho-Ho-Kus, died Oct. 6. She was 70. Before retiring she was a special education teacher at Midland Park High School for 23 years. She was a parishioner and CCD instructor at Our Lady of Victory Church, Centerville, Massachusetts and a docent at Osterville Historical Society Museum. Rudoph Malizia of Allendale died Oct. 12. He was 82. He was a U.S. Merchant Marine veteran of WWII. He owned and operated Quality Skein in Paterson and continued to work in the textile industry until he retired in 2001. He was a member of the Apple Ridge Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Doris, his children, Rudy Malizia Jr. of Mullberry, Florida, Darlene Amrogowicz of Boynton Beach, Florida, Joseph Malizia of Milltown, David Malizia of Hawthorne, and Dana Malizia Ike of Kinnelon, two grandchildren, and his sisters Anne Miele, Anntoinette Affinito, Vera Docherty, and Gloria Darnese. He had been a Mahwah Little League coach, and a member of the NRA. He was survived by his children, John McGeechan of Allendale, James McGeechan of Morristown, and Joan Pernice of Marco Island, Florida, four grandchildren, and his siblings, Raymond, Frank, and Jean Wagner He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara McGeechan (nee Sandri) and his sister, Eileen Landry. Burl Michelson of Glen Rock died Oct. 9. He was 90. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Van Emburgh Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Elizabeth Raud of Allendale, formerly of Old Tappan, died Oct. 12. She was 98. She was a seamstress before retiring at age 80. She is survived by her daughter Betty Stermensky of Waldwick, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Harry. Before retiring in 2006, he had been the owner of Peter’s Fish Market in Midland Park since 1974. He was a parishioner of the Most Blessed Sacrament R. C. Church in Franklin Lakes. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine (nee DeLise), his children, Peter of Wyckoff, Stephen of Burlington, Burl Michelson Barbara Lazorchak Vermont, and John Sclafani of Wayne, his mother Marie Sclafani of Midland Park, and his siblings Marilyn Rozzo and Steven Sclafani, both of Wyckoff. Kunzig This November, Temple Beth Rishon will host its second annual Food for Thought Distinguished Speaker Series, which is sponsored by the Fred Emert Memorial Adult Education Fund. The series will begin with biblical scholar Professor Shalom Paul on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. Paul, professor emeritus, department of Bible at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, will speak on “The Ever Alive Dead Sea Scrolls: Understanding the Bible, Early Judaism and the Birth of Christianity.” The professor’s recent book, “A Study Guide to the Bible,” will be available for signing at his presentation.
