Page 10 THE VILLADOM TIMES I • November 11, 2009 Business Outerwear experts open new store in Bergen County The Milsteins, who founded and ran Burlington Coat Factory for over 30 years, are back in business with Best Coat Factory, which recently opened its doors at 150 Route 17 North in Paramus. Retail and outerwear expert Stephen Milstein is holding on to the winning formula that has brought his family success since 1924: designer coats at unbeatable prices. This time, he promises, his store is better than ever before. The Milstein family has been keeping America warm in beautiful coats at deeply discounted prices for four generations. They are considered coat business royalty. Their long-term business relationships enable them to bring their customers the widest selection of the very best coats at the very best prices. “We saw a void in the market for value priced designer coats,” said Milstein. From a very young age, Stephen worked along side his father Monroe Milstein, first in his grandfather’s coat business and then at Burlington Coat Factory. “We know that customers appreciate brand names, the latest fashions and a big selection at rock bottom prices, now more than ever.” Best Coat Factory’s warehouse superstore opened with a collection of over 5,000 designer and famous maker coats for men, women and children, and hundreds of designer shoes and boots, and some cold weather accessories. Coat labels that are available at 50 to 75 percent off their suggested retail prices include Michael Kors, Tahari, Rainforest, Kenneth Cole, Via Spiga, Tommy Hilfiger, Perry Ellis, Weatherproof, Steve Madden, Nine West, and many more. Many retailers say they understand the value of offering customers the best for less. Stephen and his family have been delivering on this promise since 1924. The new Best Coat Factory store is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday though Saturday. The store is closed on Sunday. For details, visit www.bestcoatfactory.com. Wyckoff election results (continued from page 3) She has also coached the softball and Knickerbockers recreation program. Hubert and Sobin have both run before and have made strong showings, but have not been elected. Both support Friends of Wyckoff, an environmental advocacy group that first took form over the attempt to block a site plan approval for large single-family houses overlooking Deep Voll Ravine. More recently, Sobin in particular has urged that the township committee be more responsive in appointing qualified Democrats and Independents to volunteer positions often seen as leading to township committee seats, such as board of adjustment and planning board positions. Brian Scanlan, the first Democratic elected in Wyckoff since the Great Depression, is now the only member of his party serving on the township committee. The two seated Republicans who would have been incumbents, Mayor Joseph Fiorenzo and Wyckoff Township Committeeman David Connolly, opted not to seek reelection this year. Paul Banach Construction, LLC Home Remodeling Waldwick • 201-689-0765 • Windows • Doors • Garage Doors • • Finish Carpentry • Crown Moldings, Cabinetry, Walk-In-Closets, etc... • Kitchen & Bathroom Renovations • Take advantage of the Energy Tax Credit in 2009 www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?c=products.pr_tax_credits Speak to your tax advisor to ascertain if you qualify, as these credits will make a project more economical for you!
