Prior to her retirement, she was a cafeteria worker at Indian Hills High School in Oakland. She was a founding member of Saint Alban’s Episcopal Church in Oakland and served on the Alter Guild. She was a member of the Franklin Lakes Seniors. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Alsdorf of Franklin Lakes, six grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert O. Ahlstrom, and her son David Ahlstrom. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home in Franklin Lakes. James R. Barwick of Wyckoff died Feb. 24. He was 74. He was a self employed accountant. He had been employed by Look Magazine, Merck Corporation and Johnson & Johnson. He was a member and past president of the Polish University Club of New Jersey, and a member of The Kosciuszko Foundation. He is survived by his wife, Harriet “Jadzia,” his sons, James R. Robert Hajinlian of Wyckoff died Feb. 21. He was 63. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam. He was vice president of the Property Management Division at Hekemian & Co. of Hackensack where he has worked for 38 years. He was a member of the New Jersey Apartment Association and served as president of the Fair Lawn Rent Leveling Board. He is survived by his wife his wife Noreen (nee Karanfilian) Hajinlian of Wyckoff, his children Jennifer Bahadurian of Wyckoff and Kristin Hajinlian of New York, New York, his siblings Harry Hajinlian of Congers, New York, Norita Rehrig of Bethlehem, Dr. Peter Hajinlian and Barbara Boorjian of North Caldwell. James Marion of Franklin Lakes, formerly of Cliffside Park, died Feb. 24. He was 80. He is survived by his children Joan Dittmer and Joyce Kneuer of Oakland, and three grandchildren. He practiced medicine for over 50 years and was on staff at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, Meadowlands Hospital in Secaucus, and had an office in Cliffside Park. He is survived by his wife Debra Davis McDonald, his children Anthony McDonald, Lisanne McDonald, Bruce McDonald, Susan Corcoran, and Jane Estes, four grandchildren, and his former spouse Kathleen Barry McDonald. Charles Donald Montgomery, Ph.D. of Ho-Ho-Kus, formerly of Ridgewood died Feb. 24. He was 78. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Before retiring in 1995, he was dean of students and an English teacher at Ridgewood High School. He was a member of West Side Presbyterian Church and Saint Bartholomew’s Church in Ho-Ho-Kus and a member of the Hobbyists and tennis and hiking groups. He is survived by his wife June (nee Barr), children Marc Montgomery of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Meg Montgomery of Brooklyn, New York, stepchildren Fiona McNamara of Mahwah and Jeremy Miller of Jersey of the Channel Islands, six grandchildren, and his former wife Carol Montgomery of Brooklyn, New York.
