Page 18 THE VILLADOM TIMES I • June 24, 2009 Midland Park Perfect 300 May 21st turned out to be a very special day for Dave and Jim Ketterer. Dave, 52 and Jim, 47, brothers and teammates, both bowled a perfect 300 in the same game at Holiday Bowl in Oakland. Bowling for the Troublemakers in the Ridgewood-Pompton Thursday Men’s League, the brothers performed the feat in the last game on the last week of the season. Jim, a 225 avg. bowler, was the first to complete the 300 with Dave, a 222 avg. bowler, and the team’s anchor finishing. What made the night all the more special was that their proud father, Neil, also a teammate, and their brother Raymond, waiting to bowl in the next league, was there to witness and share the excitement. For Jim it was his 6th career 300 and for Dave it was his second. Brother Raymond also has a 300 to his credit to make this one heck of a bowling family. Congratulations Jim and Dave on performing this rare feat. The Midland Park Lions Club has installed its new officers for the year 2009- 2010 beginning on July 1, 2009.
