This gigantic sale features thousands of bargains inside and outside at the church located at 730 Franklin Lake Road. Admission is free. Sale days are Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Evening hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7 to 9 p.m. The sale is closed on Sunday and Mondays. Donations will be accepted June 22 through July 25, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All items must be in good condition or new. This would include antiques, collectibles, books, prints, artwork, frames, small furniture, lamps, kitchenware, garden tools, electronics, linens, tools, bicycles, sport and fitness equipment and children’s items. Computer classes offered The Franklin Lakes Public Library will offer computer classes for beginners during the month of June. Seniors travel to Waldorf-Astoria The Franklin Lakes Seniors have sponsored a trip to Waldorf-Astoria in New York City on Tuesday, June 23. The trip will include a behind-the-scenes tour at the hotel The sophomore history classes taught by Cynthia Vander Molen at Ramapo High School raised $600 from a Walk-a-Thon held on three trails at the New Jersey Audubon Society in Franklin Lakes. The event benefited St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in New York City to help fund medical coverage for children diagnosed with cancer. Touring dramatists to perform Franklin Lakes Public Library has invited the Next Stage Ensemble touring drama group to perform “The Odyssey” on Tuesday, June 30 at 7 p.m. in the library’s community room. The ensemble is part of The Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey. The play is a fast-paced, creative retelling of key scenes from Homer’s epic poem. Franklin Lakes residents may register at the adult reference desk. Non-residents may register beginning Monday, June 15. Tickets may be picked up at the adult reference desk.
