Volunteers sought The non-profit Wyckoff PTO Economy Shop is looking for volunteers for the upcoming school year. The shop sells gently used clothing and small household items to benefit our local schools. During the school year the shop is open Tuesdays and Fridays 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays 9:30 a.m. to noon. Evening hours are 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. La Leche League expands meetings La Leche League of Wyckoff provides women interested in breastfeeding with information and mother to mother (and mother-to-be) support. Monthly meetings are held not only in the morning, but also in the evening. Topics for discussion include avoiding breastfeeding difficulties, continued breastfeeding, weaning and nutrition, as well as any other issues breastfeeding mothers might have. Morning meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m. Evening meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of each month from 7 to 9 p.m. Babies and toddlers are always welcome. There are additional meeting to address toddler issues, parenting and nutrition. LLL believes breastfeeding gives babies the best possible start in life.
