Carly is the granddaughter of Carl and Alva Hofstrom of Wyckoff and Will Hug of Pompton Plains. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ramapo High School and The College of New Jersey, where she majored in education and math. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in education leadership at Montclair State University. She is employed as a math teacher at Indian Hills High School in Oakland. She is the granddaughter of Carl and Alva Hofstrom of Wyckoff and Will Hug of Pompton Plains. Her fiancé is a graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School in Philadelphia and Slippery Rock University, where he majored in education. He is pursuing a master’s degree in educational leadership from Newman College. He is employed as a middle school social studies teacher in Philadelphia. A spring 2010 wedding is planned. Dr. James and Joanne Charles of Ridgewood have announced the engagement of their daughter, Christine Marie, to Christopher Ziobro, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jan Ziobro of Upper Montclair. The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Ridgewood High School and a 2003 graduate of Bucknell University. She worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering in the Pediatric Sarcoma Unit. She graduated from New York University College of Nursing in May 2008 and is employed as a registered nurse in the oncology department of NYU-Langone Medical Center. Her fiancé earned his BA from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio with a degree in chemical engineering. He is employed as a project manager for Bristol Myers Squibb. He is enrolled in the MBA program in the Stern School of Business at New York University. The couple met in Hoboken, where they currently reside. A June 2009 wedding is planned. Sara Miller to wed Timothy Macdonald Heidi Meyers to wed Dr. James and Joanne Charles of Ridgewood have announced the engagement of their daughter, Francine Anne, to Peter Joseph Mannarino, the son of Joseph and Nadia Mannarino. The two are 2002 graduates of Ridgewood High School and 2006 graduates of New York University. The bride-tobe earned a master’s degree in mathematics from the New York University Steinhardt School of Education in 2007. She is employed by the New York City Board of Education as a math teacher for the High School of Fashion Industries in Manhattan. Her fiancé is attending Brooklyn Law School and is expected to graduate in 2009. They reside in New York City. A September 2009 wedding is planned. The bride-to-be graduated from William Paterson University in Wayne in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She is employed as a lead photographer with Sport Shots Unlimited in Midland Park. Her fiancé is a 2004 graduate from East Stroudsburg University in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, with a bachelor’s degree in acting and directing.
