He was self-employed as a ceramic tile contractor for Standard Tile Contracting Rosalie Conti in Wyckoff, and worked as a limousine driver for Van Blarkem Limo for many years. He was a member of the Wyckoff Reform Church and active with the VFW. He is survived by his wife Doris (nee Reed) Hogerhaus, his children Robyn Wilson of Ringwood, and Shari Ehrlich of Valley Stream, New York, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was a member of Saint Paul RC Church in Ramsey for many years. She is survived by her children Marianne Raymond of Ringwood, Annette Roberts of Bloomingdale, Yvonne Slaninka of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, Michelle Slater of Cape Coral, Florida, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
