Gertrude L. Dunlap, nee Vermeulen, of Franklin Lakes died Nov. 27. She was 87. She had worked for Joseph’s Jewelers in Des Moines, Iowa for more than 20 years. She was a parishioner of Saint Ambrose Cathedral. She is survived by her children Dennis L. Dunlap of Lake Forest, Illinois, Steven F. Dunlap of Madison, Wisconsin, and Susan K. Mackey of Franklin Lakes, 10 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Frank F. Dunlap and her grandson Kip Mackey. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834. Alice Little of Franklin Lakes died Nov. 27. She was 80. Before retiring in 1990, she was a registered nurse at Wiersma Nursing Home of Allendale for 20 years. She was a parishioner of Saint Elizabeth’s R.C. Church of Wyckoff. She is survived by her sons Kevin of Omaha, Nebraska, Scott of Austin, Texas, and Mark of Toms River, and six grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas W. Little. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff. Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Central Texas Chapter, 3316 Bee Cave Road, Suite A, Austin, TX 78746. Eugene P. “Gene” McGuire of Wyckoff died Nov. 29. He was 75. He had been executive vice president of labor relations and personnel with NBC. In the last 10 years he was a consultant for financial companies in New York. He was a member of Ridgewood Country Club and Jonathan’s Landing in Jupiter, Florida. He was a parishioner of the Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Franklin Lakes. He is survived by his wife Jeanie, his children Donna O’Donnell of Randolph, Eugene Jr. of Wantage, Rick of Wyckoff, and Annie McGuire of Westwood, Massachusetts, 11 grandchildren, four brothers and seven sisters. Elizabeth Jane Mohan, nee Belinsky, of Shohola, Pennsylvania, formerly of Allendale, died Nov. 24. She was 84. She was a long-time member of Archer United Methodist Church and the XYZ Seniors Club. She is survived by her son Gary W. Mohan of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. She was predeceased by her husband Donald S. Mohan Sr. Arrangements were made by Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey. Gertrude E. Wostbrock Neill of Midland Park died Dec. 2. She was 99. She was part owner of Wostbrock Embroidery, where she worked six days a week up until three months ago. She was a charter member of the Church of Nativity in Midland Park and a member of the Rosary Society. She was the membership chairman of the original Midland Park Senior Citizens Group for more than 10 years. She is survived by her daughter Jean M. Holden of Littleton, Massachusetts, Henry “Bud” Wostbrock of Midland Park, and William W. Wostbrock Largo, Florida, 15 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Henry J. Wostbrock and her second husband John Neill. Arrangements were made by the Olthuis Funeral Home in Midland Park. Madeline Patricia Perusini, nee Moran, of Upper Saddle River died Nov. 25.She was 76. She was a secretary at the Cavallini Middle School Library in Upper Saddle River. She was an active member on the board of directors at the Saddle River Valley Swim and Tennis Club and the Heathermoor II Condominium Association. She is survived by her husband Everest, her children Kevin Perusini of Oakland, and Karen La Bozetta of Fair Lawn, one granddaughter, and her twin sister Betty Krivda. Mark Anthony Ryan of Ramsey died Nov. 23. He was 85. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of WWII. Before retiring in 1991, he was a senior administrator and manager in the Guidance Systems Division at Bendix where he worked for 48 years. He is survived by his wife Ann Gantner Ryan, and his children Elizabeth Ann Ryan of Mahwah, and Christine Ryan Murphy of Ramsey, two grandchildren, and his sisters, Ruth Ann Kiney of Winterville, Georgia and Carol Barry of West Dover, Vermont. He was predeceased by his son Mark Michael, and his sister Veronica Riedel. Arrangements were made by Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey. Advent Lutheran readies for Christmas Advent Lutheran Church, 777 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff is celebrating the season with Christmas week services. On Sunday, Dec. 20, the 9:30 a.m. service will also include the Christmas pageant. There will be two Christmas services: Family Devotions at 5 p.m., and the Candlelight Communion at 10 p.m. On Christmas Day there will be a Christmas Communion at 10 a.m. Advent Lutheran is barrier-free and offers hearing devices, and large print bulletins and hymnals. Abundant Life holds holiday services Abundant Life Reformed Church, 475 Lafayette Avenue, Wyckoff, will present the Children’s Choir Christmas Concert on Friday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. The Adult Choir Christmas Cantata will be featured at the Sunday, Dec. 13 service at 10:30 a.m. On Sunday, Dec. 20 the children and youth of the congregation will perform a Christmas program. On Dec. 20, the 10:30 a.m. service will feature the Sunday School Christmas Program and Rev. Brown’s “Jesus: The Holy Infant.” At 6 p.m. there will be a Candlelight Service with the Cedar Hill Choir and Girls’ Chorus. The Christmas Day service will be held at 10:30 a.m. and Rev. Brown will deliver “Angels: The Heralds.” On Sunday, Dec. 27, the only service will be held at 10:30 a.m. For New Year’s Eve, Thursday, Dec. 31 there will be an Old Year’s Evening Service at 7 p.m. when Rev.
