Diane C. Barney of Franklin Lakes died Nov. 20. She was 67. She had been a coach and supporter in the recreation programs in Oakland. She is survived by her husband Donald Barney, her children Donald W. Barney Jr., Allison White, Kerry Eckert, Mark Barney, and Kathleen Butler, 16 grandchildren, and her siblings Fordham, William, and James. She was predeceased her brother Robert Hanf. He was a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Franklin Lakes. He is survived by his wife Dolfina “Dee” Dierna (nee Lo Verde), his children Michelle, Michael and Anthony, his mother Orazia Lo Porto of Elmwood Park, and his brother of Giovanni Dierna of Elmwood Park. Haddock, formerly of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, died Nov. 24. He was 89. His was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was a retired postmaster having worked in Midland Park and Fair Lawn. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, both in Midland Park. He is survived by his children John Haddock of Sarasota, Florida, Nancy Lichtenberg of Rockaway and Karen Hofman of Easton, Pennsylvania, and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by wife Beretha Haddock, and his brother Edward J. Haddock. Arrangements were made by the Thomas Funeral Home in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. She sang in the choir at Saint Joseph’s Church in Kingston, New York, was a member of senior citizens clubs, and volunteered as a foster grandparent at the elementary schools in West Hurley, New York. She is survived by her children Raymond Hill Jr., and Douglas Hill Sr., Carol Sisti-Foley, Alice Kenly, and Theresa Hill, 18 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren. He was 85. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. She was 79. She had been a teacher and principal at Waldwick High School. She is survived by her daughters Ann T. Cocke of King George County, Virginia and Annette Toralbas of Vienna, Virginia, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Ruben R. Torralbas.
