Peter McBride of Franklin Lakes and Quiogue, New York, was married to Ryerson Adam Kipp, son of Kathleen E. Keller and Harrington “Tim” Streat Kipp of Brattleboro, Vermont on Oct. 24. The couple was married by the Reverend John Lohr of the Presbyterian Church of Middletown, New York, at the Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes. The bride is the creative manager at Michael C. Fina in New York, where she is in charge of all creative aspects of their advertising, visual merchandising, and printed collateral. She graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in advertising design. The bride’s father is the president and owner of the McBride Agency, a family real estate firm. Meredith McBride weds The groom also graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in communications design. He is the vice president and creative director of the DSM Group, a marketing, advertising, and public relations firm in Franklin Lakes. Carlon and Patricia Preate of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania have announced the engagement of their daughter, Katharine T. Preate, to James G. Stanley, son of Gordon and Peggy Stanley of Wyckoff. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Scranton Preparatory School and has earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She is manager at Deloitte & Touche in New York City. Her fiancé is a graduate of Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes and earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Lehigh University. He is senior manager of business development at Yahoo! in New York City. A June 2010 wedding is planned.
