Our mission is to promote local businesses in Franklin Lakes and the communities in the surrounding areas. We currently find ourselves in a business climate not seen for many years. Many of our customers and clients are unsure and need the support of reputable community businesses such as yours to reassure them that local, caring business still does exist. Please consider an application to our organization, or join us for our Annual Dinner with Community Leaders on April 29. The Franklin Lakes Chamber of Commerce will host its “Meet the Leaders of Franklin Lakes” dinner on Wednesday, April 29 at High Mountain Country Club, 845 Ewing Avenue, Franklin Lakes. The evening will include hors d’oeuvres, a buffet dinner, cash bar, Wii bowling, special fundraisers, and door prizes. The cost is $65 per person in advance; $70 at the door. Books for each month can be picked up at the front desk at Franklin Lakes Public Library. Snacks are always served. All readers in grades four, five, and six are invited to meet on the last Thursday of every month at 4 p.m. to participate in the Double Digits Book Discussion Group. Participants who cannot make the meeting can join in the discussion at The topic for March 26 will be “No Talking” by Andrew Clements.
